Yiyang Jin

Graduate student 

I’m a graduate student in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Minnesota. I got my B.S. degree in Yunnan University and finished my Master's study in Zhejiang University, then joined Judy's group in 2025. In my present study, I used both numerical simulations and microfluidic experiments to study the solute transport in porous media, especially focusing on anomalous transport in fractured-porous media systems. My current research focuses on the role of biosurfactants in the transport in porous media. Beyond the lab, I like making plastic models and listening to music in my free time.
